Supplementation with Vitamin E and selenium also may play a role in prevention. Occurring in multiple forms, diabetes is a disease that should not go ignored. While losing excess weight will lessen the chances of developing the condition, it is also advised that men have their blood glucose levels tested regularly to determine the risk of onset. The addition of certain plant-based ingredients, such as cinnamon, to the diet may help manage blood sugar levels.

The center was established in 1982 and cares for children aged 3-7 years whose parents do not have sufficient resources to take care of them. Yad Byad offers a safe and protected environment feeding the children nutritious meals and taking part in social activities.

This is the 42nd Casa Herbalife program to be established worldwide. After an initial grant from HFF, local Herbalife independent distributors and employees will support the program through volunteerism adn fundraising.

On May 6, Herbalife announced that its Chief Financial Officer Richard Goudis would participate in the 2009 Goldman Sachs Consumer Products Symposium on May 14 at the Goldman Sachs Conference Center in New York.
